Our Story
Primero, meaning “the first,” represents the first premium collection of tequila from the Beckmann Estate of Agave. Overseen by eighth-generation tequila producer Jorge Beckmann and further guided by Master Tequilero Francisco Quijano, the Primero Collection is produced using agave solely from the Beckmann Estate, leveraging their exclusive family recipe.
This recipe captures a particular terroir composition and micro-climate that brings one of the highest sugar yields. The Primero portfolio is crafted using a proprietary species of yeast, adding an element of green fruit and herbs, such as eucalyptus, not found in other locally produced tequilas.
